The Big Idea
Prompts change. AI models change. Technology changes. The durable skill is understanding the relationship between:
Human Intent → AI Instructions → AI Execution → Human Evaluation
You set the intent at the beginning and judge the result at the end. The AI does the work in between.
From One Prompt to a System
Once a prompt works, it can be saved, reused, and improved — turning a one-off request into a repeatable workflow.
| Stage | What It Looks Like |
|---|---|
| Question | ”Explain budgeting.” |
| Instruction | A structured prompt with all six blocks |
| Task | A reusable prompt you save and adapt |
| Process | A series of prompts: outline, draft, critique, revise |
| Workflow | A repeatable routine you use every week |
Keep the Human in the Loop
The more you rely on AI, the more your own judgment matters. Share important work with real people, test it in the real world, and watch for the moment when every answer starts agreeing with you.
Final Project
Pick one task you do every week. Build a complete six-block prompt for it, run it, critique the result, and revise it at least twice. Save the final version — that’s the first prompt in your personal library.
